Larson Updates FX Series With New Models

Rather than start from scratch, Larson Boat Group designed their new models for 2017 based on the company’s already popular Larson FX Series. The FX 1750 and FX 2020, both available in a dual console or tiller version, are joining Larson’s ranks next year.

Like their predecessors in the FX line, the 1750 and 2020 are crafted with the avid anglers in mind. For example, the updated FX series features a number of updates to the hull to ensure a smoother, more stable ride: There is a flared hull side for reduced wave impact and splash, a large extended keel for back trolling efficiency, tapered chines, and strakes that run the length of the boat.

On deck, the dual console and tiller models both feature a wide open deck layout with spacious bow and rear casting platforms. There are also a number of storage options, including four rod storage tubes with hooks that can hold rods up to 8 feet. Other fishing-friendly features include a tall wraparound windscreen and sculpted chairs.

Although packed with features for the ultimate fishing trip, the FX 1750 and 2020 are also great for cruising with family and friends. FX series boats can accommodate up to six or seven people, and boaters can opt for an optional ski pylon for those who love to tube, waterski or wakeboard.
