Detroit Boat Show Expands

This year marks the 57th annual Detroit Boat Show, which cruises into the Cobo Center Valentine’s Day, February 14. This time around, however, attendees will see the show in a much larger space — 50,000 square feet larger, in fact.

The Detroit Boat Show will span a total of 350,000 square feet. This is the fourth year in a row that the show has grown and added more space and exhibits.

“For the past four years, Michigan has outpaced the rest of the county in growth and sales for our industry,” says show manager Nicki Polan. “Attendees will be pleased to see a bigger show, again this year, with more boat sizes and lines represented to see and purchase.”

The Detroit Boat Show has something for everybody, featuring hundreds of new and used boats for fishing, skiing, wakeboarding, cruising, paddle boats, kayaks, electronics, boating gear, and much more.

The Detroit Boat Show is owned and produced by the Michigan Boating Industries Association (MBIA). For more information, visit
