BoatU.S. Creates 15 How-To Films

There is now a solution for all those basic boating questions you may be too embarrassed to ask. Last week, BoatU.S. kicked off a mini “film festival” with a series of 15 short films on common boating tasks.

“We’re calling the video release a summer ‘film festival’ because all are themed with a how-to focus, are organized in one simple place to view, and are easy to watch outdoors,” said BoatU.S. Magazine associate editor Charles Fort.

The videos are two to three minutes long. Topics were chosen from decades of BoatU.S. member requests. Boaters will find videos on the following topics, to name a few: Launching your boat solo; changing a prop; backing a boat trailer down the ramp; changing the bilge pump switch; and troubleshooting trailer lights.
