Out of the box.

Sea Ray has thought out of the box with its new 2018 SDX 250.

  • Water Capacity: 10 gals.

With an open bow and ample seating, this is sure to be the next rage in this model class.

For starters, the large, unobstructed walk-thru windshield opening is on the port side, not on centerline. This does several things, as it creates a forward-facing bench seat in the bow and an aft-facing foredeck bench seat that makes the bow a separate gathering place. The portside walk-thru windshield also creates a larger interior head compartment that can convert to a lounge area, perfect for getting the kids out of the sun for a while.

Further in, the dual starboard helm and port companion seats have reversible backrests for aft seating. Add in the port L-settee with table and port seat, and you can lounge from any location. The L-settee backrest also flips forward, creating a large sunpad on the transom.

Standard power is a MerCruiser 4.5L Bravo III 250-hp sterndrive. More horses can be obtained with optional Mercury Marine engines up to 350 hp.

The helm is full of needed equipment, including a SmartCraft diagnostics display, blue night-lit gauges, tilt power steering and an optional Simrad GO9 9-inch touch-screen display with Mercury VesselView Link data.

Trick out the SDX 250 with optional packages and features, such as dock lights, a submersible swimming step, filler cushions, an upgraded audio package, a bow table, cockpit flooring, or upgraded electronics. A Bimini top with canvas or a sports tower can be added to the base model. A dual axle trailer with disc brakes is also available.

Color up the exterior with a variety of shades that include Rally Red, Steel Blue Metallic, Onyx and many more. There are many options to enhance the SDX 250 to perfectly fit your boating lifestyle.

“The SDX 250 marks an evolution in Sea Ray’s SDX family, with aggressive new styling, convenient trim package options, an improved layout, and a choice of sterndrive or outboard propulsion,” says Brad Anderson, president of Sea Ray Sport Boats and Sport Cruisers. “Seating capacity is outstanding.”

Check out the innovation and out-of-the-box thinking that Sea Ray is bringing to the market in the new SDX 250.
