Seal Chomps Rescuers
Caught in a shark net 650 feet from shore in North Narrabeen, Australia, an eight foot seal needed a crew of rescuers to get free. The seal, however, was anything but thankful for the assist.

An inflatable police launch was sent out to free the sea mammal from certain death. Long poles were used to free the animal from the net.

Before swimming away, though, the seal, unhurt during its ordeal, swam to the inflatable boat and attacked it.

Eight teeth punctured the inflatable launch and the boat started to take on water, forcing the police to return to land for repairs. None of the officers in the rescue were injured.
