| Become An Island Hopper |
Imagine ricocheting between island to island in the Caribbean, endlessly visiting and experiencing new cultures, meeting fascinating people, eating exotic foods while taking part in local festivals and traditions.
A sailor's dream perhaps, but usually not something one can attain without some massive funding.
Welcome to the world of Island Hopper, a reality television show that's just getting underway. They'll need just the skipper described to pilot their show. The producers are looking for the down-to-earth male or female who can live that life, loving every experience and tribulation that's thrown their way.
The skipper will live on the salvaged motorsailer Why Not and visit the islands of the Caribbean. He or she will head to Dominica where he'll quest for the remaining Carib Indians in an attempt to prove or disprove their history of cannibalism. After that, it's on to Port Royal, the pirate home of Jamaica. Dine on "jerk" cooking while visiting the pirate hangouts of the past.
Or dive for sunken gold in the Dominican Republic. Build a boat with the shipmakers in Grenada. Go to the Carnival in Trinidad. Recover from Carnival in beautiful, green Tobago. And on and on. The water will be your home and adventure.
Head over to Island Hopper Casting to get the full details on how to become the Skipper and start your island hopping life.
To be eligible to become the skipper, you'll need the flexibility and willingness to adapt to major changes and a desire to experience the world. Interested applicants should get together a 3-5 minute video showcasing their personality, your experiences, anything about yourself. The casting is open to males and females but you must be at least 18 years of age.
